Lone Star is a club that performs both Spanish and English (if desired) songs to the NorthMeck population and the public. Lone Star is similar to arts and theatre, but includes performing songs or dances, having roles such as a Lone Star government member which is part of politics within the club and gives the opportunity to band members, singers, dancers, and songwriters. Due to many ESL students here at NorthMeck that cant or barely speak English, but have amazing talents the group gives them the opportunity to reach their goals from the Lone Star translator district. Lone Star also plans on performing at nursery homes, hospitals, and fundraisers mainly for the elderly,hopeless, and the ones in poverty to show them that they have someone that cares and appreciates their support to the u.s economy. Lone Star also holds fundraisers, parties and field trips for the group’s hard work and effort.
